1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PhotoPrinting.xyz (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

PhotoPrinting.xyz is a free, browser-based tool that helps you create and print ID and passport photos at home. The Service generates print-ready PDFs based on your uploaded or captured photos and your selected size settings. All processing happens locally in your browser.

3. Your responsibility for compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any photos you produce using this Service meet the official requirements of the relevant government authority (passport office, visa authority, or other issuing body). Requirements vary by country and document type and change over time.

PhotoPrinting.xyz provides size dimensions in good faith based on publicly available information, but we make no guarantee that any photo produced using this Service will be accepted by any government authority. We are not liable for rejected passport or visa applications, wasted printing materials, or any other loss arising from reliance on the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Produce fraudulent, forged, or otherwise unlawful identity documents.
• Impersonate another person in an official document.
• Upload or process photos to which you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to terminate access to the Service for any user we reasonably believe is in breach of these terms.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by the operator of PhotoPrinting.xyz and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without express written permission.

You retain all rights to photos you upload or capture. By using the Service you grant us no rights over your photos — they remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results that will be accepted by any third party (including government authorities).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhotoPrinting.xyz and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Rejection of passport, visa, or ID applications.
• Cost of printing materials.
• Loss of data.
• Any other loss or damage of any kind.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed £50 GBP.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses Firebase (Google) for authentication and optional session storage, and is hosted on Vercel. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

9. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
